- "Policy" refers to your pet insurance policy contract
- "Pet" refers to the animal(s) covered under your insurance policy
2. Use of Our Website
2.1 Acceptable Use
You may use our website only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:
- Use the website in any way that violates any applicable law or regulation

3.4 Cooling-Off Period
You have a 14-day cooling-off period from the date you receive your policy documents or the start date of your policy (whichever is later). During this period, you may cancel your policy for a full refund, provided you have not made a claim.
4. Premiums and Payments
4.1 Payment Methods
We accept payment by credit card, debit card, and direct debit. All premiums must be paid in British Pounds (£).
4.2 Non-Payment
If you fail to pay your premium on time:
- Your policy may be cancelled
- You may not be able to make a claim
- We may charge fees for late payment or failed direct debits
- You may find it difficult to obtain insurance in the future
4.3 Premium Adjustments
We reserve the right to adjust your premium at renewal based on:
- Changes to your pet's age or circumstances
- Claims history
- Changes in veterinary costs
- Changes to insurance premium tax or other taxes
5. Claims
5.1 Making a Claim
To make a claim, you must:
- Notify us as soon as reasonably possible
- Provide all required documentation, including veterinary invoices and medical records
- Cooperate with our investigation of the claim
- Not admit liability or settle any claim without our consent
5.2 Fraudulent Claims
If you make a fraudulent claim or provide false information in support of a claim:
- We will reject the claim
- We may void your policy from inception
- We will not refund any premiums
- We may recover any claims previously paid
- We may report the matter to law enforcement and fraud prevention agencies
